How can my child apply to attend North Carolina Pre-K (NCPK)

Call the Stanly County Partnership for Children's Office at 704-982-2038 to place your child on the screening list.  An application will be mailed to you along with instructions to apply for the North Carolina Pre-K Program (NCPK).  If your child is eligible for services in the NCPK Program, you will be notified of his/her eligibility.

How can my child be evaluated for Exceptional Children’s Pre-K Services

Referrals for evaluations are made based on the developmental needs of your child, aged 3-5. We accept referrals from:
    • Doctor's Offices
    • Infant Toddler Program
    • Parents
Once the referral has been made, your child will be evaluated to determine your child’s strengths and needs. Based on your child’s needs, you will help participate in the educational planning for your child! Speech and Language Services are available for help with delays in communication skills for eligible children!
