The first time you use a chromebook you need to follow this process to make the chromebook work for you.
How to Install the Lightspeed Certificate
Log in to your Chromebook
Click/Visit http://TTC.stanlycountyschools.org/lsaccess/proxycert , this will download the certificate you need.
Click on your user icon in the bottom right corner, then click Settings.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, then click Show advanced settings.
Scroll down to HTTPS/SSL, then click the Manage certificates… button
In the Certificate manager box, click the Authorities tab
Click the Import… button
The File type selection box should say Base64-encoded
Select der-encoded binary
Select the ls-rocket.der file and then click Open
On the Certificate authority box, check all three options and then click ok.
You should now be able to access Gmail and Drive
