ReOpening Updates

Get ready Infographic

Stanly County Schools developed a plan to reopen based on the requirements announced by Governor Cooper. Addressing the needs and safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

Your patience and support are greatly appreciated as we forge a new pathway of learning for Stanly County Schools.

Together we can create a successful 20-21 school year!

(Please be aware the circumstances and guidance concerning the COVID-19 pandemic may evolve over the next few months. We will update students and parents appropriately of any changes that may be necessary to address the needs of keeping a safe learning environment.)

For the most accurate information for planning purposes, it is imperative that all families/guardians complete the Intent to Return form. The form allows parents/guardians to make a choice of full remote learning or face to face instruction; as specified in Plan B as outlined below, for each child in your household.

This is not how any of us hoped to begin the upcoming school year, however, we will provide every child the highest educational opportunity possible. While no plan will be perfect, we are committed to adjusting and collaborating with stakeholders to develop a plan that best fits the needs of Stanly County while abiding by all state requirements.

The deadline to submit your choice was July 31, 2020, before 5:00 PM.

Please submit only one form per family.

Contact your students’ school if you have any issues submitting the Intent to Return form.
