Congratulations Mrs. Lori Roach!

Congratulations Mrs. Lori Roach!
Stanly County Schools would like to honor Mrs. Lori Roach with the distinction of Educator of Excellence at the Exceptional Children's Division 69th Conference. Mrs. Roach was nominated by Julienne Fallen, Principal of Richfield Elementary. Mrs. Roach is a licensed speech language pathologist that provides speech therapy/services to students with disabilities.

She is recognized as a leader in service to Richfield by her peers and the families we serve. She works tirelessly to make connections to those she serves as well as extend warm greetings to all children. She is an integral part of the overall operation of the school. She provides support to teachers, students, and families. She is known to go out of her way to help a student in need.
Mrs.
Roach is a dedicated educator who knows the value of explicit instruction to meet the needs of students as well as the importance of parent communication and completion of paperwork to meet deadlines. She is often called upon by her peers to offer support in IEP meetings as well as in completing paperwork.

Mrs. Roach is an advocate for students as well as for the school. She is currently chair of the Fundraising, Parent and Community Outreach Committee. This committee works towards funding needed items/projects throughout the school as well as supports PTO and their efforts.

Mrs. Roach has a can-do attitude and is willing to step up. She often comes to the table with solutions and truly wants what is best for the student and by extension the school as a whole. Richfield Elementary is blessed to have Mrs. Roach on staff! It is with the utmost confidence that I can say, Mrs. Roach demonstrates a positive reflection on the Richfield Elementary and the educational profession as a whole.

These are just a few of the many reasons Mrs. Roach has been awarded the recognition of Stanly County Schools' EC Educator of Excellence for 2019.
