Congratulations!

The winners enjoyed a reception by the Board of Education members and SCS staff prior to the BOE monthly meeting. After, the Board of Education also recognized and celebrated the Support Staff of the Year selected from each school in the district with public acknowledgment and awarded them a certificate of excellence.

 

These employees represent the best of what is happening in our schools everyday. Support staff members are comprised of both certified and classified staff who serve the students outside of the classroom. They bring excellence to their work, and are guided by the determination to do what is right, what is fair, and what is best for our students. These remarkable employees have made an important investment in our schools and our students. They welcome, smile, encourage, give and work relentlessly to fulfill our school district’s obligation to its children.

 

Every winner we honor tonight is someone who has demonstrated that, every day, they find their purpose and measure their own success through the success of our students. For every employee recognized tonight, there are many more like them all across the district who work outside the spotlight to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for our students.

 

The dedication, caring, and expertise of each of these individuals will leave lasting legacies in the lives they touch.    Thank you!
