Due to local weather conditions, Stanly County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

For Students:

• Follow your school’s remote learning schedule

• Check your learning platforms for assignments and teacher instructions

Activities Update:

• All sports and extracurricular activities remain canceled

For Staff:

• School buildings will open at 9:00 AM for staff who prefer to work on-site

• Staff choosing not to report should follow provided inclement weather work-from-home options that were emailed on Monday or take leave as appropriate.

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. This decision was made after careful review of weather forecasts and in consultation with emergency management.
