Stanly County Schools recognizes the tremendous impact school counselors have on the overall education of our children. We honor this special group during the week of February 4 - 8. The theme for the 2019 National School Counseling Week is School Counselors: Providing Lessons for Life. This week is designed to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
