2022-23 NC School Report Card Welcome Letter

Dear Parents and Community Members:

Thank you for visiting our report card page on the North Carolina School Report Card Website. Our report card contains valuable information about relevant indicators of Stanly County School’s success. 

This report card includes data about school and student academic performance, teachers and qualifications, career and college readiness, principals and qualifications, financial data, and the school environment for the 2022-23 school year.  There is also information about our schools strategic planning and financial information.  This data is available for our schools, our district, and the state as a whole to allow you to compare our school to others. 

What the report card cannot show you is how we work to educate the whole student.  Teachers in our school are using blended learning to maximize student achievement.  By using multiple types of digital resources, teachers are able to give students technology-enriched instruction that will teach them skills necessary to be life-long learners.  Stanly County Schools also has a strong CTE program that provides students the ability to earn credentials while in school.  Along with dual enrollment classes through SCC, students have many opportunities to become career and college ready by the time they graduate from high school.  Stanly County Schools boasts numerous sports, clubs, and extracurricular activities which students may become involved in.  All of these elements together produce a comprehensive educational experience that cannot be accurately portrayed by numbers and metrics.

By using data contained in the report cards, and other empirical methods for measuring student achievement, we continue to use and develop research-based methods of instruction that will ensure continued improvement in the quality of student learning. Our goal is to meet the needs of all students by maximizing their academic growth, and potential.
