Overview
Stanly County Schools English as a Second Language (ESL) program strives to provide a quality program to the English Language Learners (ELs) / Multilingual Learners (MLs) we serve. The goal of the program is to collaborate with classroom teachers and provide services to meet the needs of all ELs/MLs in the district.

English Learner Family Toolkit
The free toolkitavailable in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic, and accessible as a mobile app for Android and iPhone devices (called the EL Family Toolkit app in both the Apple app store and Google Play store).
 
 
 
 
WIDA ELD Standard Resources
The Can Do Descriptors highlight what language learners can do at various stages of language development. The Can Do Descriptors have not yet been updated to reflect the 2020 Edition; however, they remain available as a valuable tool for communicating with stakeholders about what students can do at each language proficiency level.
